New Points of Interest (POIs)
To encourage exploration and New World gold reward map knowledge, over a dozen new POIs have been added, including:
The Hollow Fortress (Ebonscale Reach): A multi-level PvE dungeon in an abandoned stronghold.
Obsidian Forge (Great Cleave): A PvP hot zone with rare crafting nodes and a dynamic world boss.
Shrine of the Lost Stars (Brightwood): A new open-world event zone that spawns waves of corrupted mobs and treasure chests.
Each POI contributes to faction influence, crafting quests, and rare drops — making them hotspots for all players.
Map UI and Navigation Improvements
The user interface for the map has been improved for clarity and ease of use.
New Features:
Filter Tools: Toggle between objectives like quests, crafting stations, PvP targets, and faction missions.
Fog of War: Newly introduced to add a sense of discovery — areas remain hidden until physically explored.
Faction Colors: Map now clearly shows contested and owned territories with buy New World coins bold visual indicators.
